Sofia Art Academy, a private traditional classic art school, is specializing in teaching drawing and painting classes to students, ages 5 years - adults, has a part-time position for an art teacher.
We are looking for an artist with a background in Classical Realism. We teach traditional classic art classes with realistic approach in drawing and painting of still-lifes, animals and landscapes, features of the face and head constructions, life model full figure construction and painting. This position requires very good drawing and painting skills in traditional, classical realism style.
This job is fun and rewarding, as you are passing on your artistic talent and knowledge to children, teens, and adults who are enthusiastic about learning to draw and paint.
Qualifications:
1. Must be able to show strong drawing (Construction of objects using traditional methods) and painting skills in realistic style. (Portfolio required).
2. Have a real affinity and good communication skills with students.
3. Be very patient and empathetic.
4. Have a fun, up-beat personality that can bring real enthusiasm and inspiration to our students.
5. Be highly responsible and punctual.
6. Must be available Mondays - Fridays 4:00 pm.-7:30 pm. and Sunday 11 am.-3:00 pm. Note: Hours may vary due to rescheduling of the classes.
7. Depending on qualifications, training sessions may be required in order to adapt to Sofia Art Academy’s teaching methods. |
